Winter Iris

Posted in Project 365 on December 26th, 2007 by Judy

One picture a day. I have to choose! Yesterday I couldn’t resist the beautiful patterns in the water and today I can’t resist this amazing iris. I noticed it yesterday, December 24. It has frosted here a number of times and everything that can’t take frost is dying down. But this white iris decides to bloom. It bloomed very low to the ground and it’s frost damaged, but it is an iris bloom in December. Casa Magnolia, Wimberley, Texas.
