Last evening the sun rays were beautiful before sunset, but the closer to sunset we got the less color there was in the sky. So here is Port Bay before sunset.
Rockport Texas fireworks taken from our house at the opposite side of Salt Lake, about 5 miles as the crow flies. I used 8 sec, ISO 100, F16, and 300mm focal length (450mm 35mm equivalent). This is part of the finale.
Last night returning from dinner at Shempy’s in Aransas Pass we noticed the sun was blood red. I drove as quickly as I could to the nearest place I knew of that we could see the sun set. Few clouds, houses behind where the sun is setting now, foreground water wasn’t working, and the sun wasn’t even coming out red in my photos… This morning I started playing with the photo and came up with this. I like this effect — what do you think?
