This beautiful tree is in the middle of the road in Skyline Ranch.  Coming home when the headlights hit it after dark, I always enjoy seeing it lit up.

Magnolia, processed in B&W. A large magnolia tree lives in our courtyard and every spring provides us with a great deal of joy. Magnolias don’t bloom all at once like many blooming trees, but only a few at a time. Magnolias are very ancient trees, evolving before bees evolved, I just read. Before our bees started disappearing, when we first moved to Wimberley, the courtyard would reverberate with a very loud buzz as millions of bees enjoyed the magnolia blossoms. The silence is now deafening…
