Not only did we have a pandemic, but California and Colorado were on fire. In the areas we visited in southern Colorado, we understood the constant heavy haze was from California fires and not Colorado fires. It was a challenge in many cases to get good photographs because of the haze, but after processing, many of the photographs were quite unusual. The photo above was taken at dusk at Great Sand Dunes National Park in Colorado. The dunes are always amazing in morning and evening light but the haze made this a rather unusual photograph."}
