Boston 2013

Time out from Ukraine for some photos taken in Boston in July 2013. We were in Massachusetts and Maine to visit family and took a quick trip into Boston. Above is “Fractured”, reflections of buildings in the windows of other buildings. At right is a construction project.
I could not stop taking pictures of the The Leonard P. Zakim Bunker Hill Memorial Bridge. Completed, in 2003, “The Zakim” is one of the widest cable-stayed bridges in the world. Built long after my time in Boston in the 1960s.
View from the Haymarket area. Faneuil Hall is the building with the gold dome. At right is the Custom House tower. The tower was added to the original 1837-1847 building in 1915-1917.
